You are welcome at Redeemer! Regardless of what you believe or what you know about church, or God, or Jesus – we work hard to make the Christian faith make sense!
When you arrive at Redeemer Church, you will be met by friendly people and you will meet other people just like you who are working every day in our community and seeking to honor God and grow in our relationship to Him by gathering to worship Him.
Most people dress in business casual. The service lasts about an hour and begins with our singing together. We read Scripture together. We sometimes read a section of the catechism or recite one of the historic creeds of the Christian faith (all provided for you so we aren’t doing it from memory!). We are led in prayer into the presence of God. Our pastor or one of our elders teaches from the Bible. And we close with more singing together as we anticipate departing into a new week of service in our communities, homes, and places of work.
The church is not a building, it’s people. Therefore we have chosen to meet in a public place where costs for meeting space is minimal, allowing us to put the emphasis of our ministry on people, not buildings.
Redeemer Church meets each Sunday morning at 10:00 am at Sashabaw Middle School in Clarkston, Michigan. It is a comfortable space, easily accessible from Interstate 75 (Exit 89) in Oakland County, located at 5565 Pine Knob Lane off Maybee Road..
